Georgetown, TX Notes

GTX Restaurant News Blog

Chic-fil-A and other restaurants are building new restaurants.

Now that Georgetown has over 100,000 residents, we can expect the major chain operators to be moving into the area even more than they already are, especially around the Ronald Reagan toll road that is beginning to form. No tolls yet, but they are coming and so will the businesses and food joints! Liberty Hill is growing like topsy, too.

Just think it would be nice for some upscale restaurants somewhere outside of downtown. Fast food and delivery have their place, but sometimes slow, quality and exclusive would be great because restuarants can be entertainment.

GTX Downtown Parking Garage open!

Hopefully the bridge on Austin will be fixed and completed before too real long. For now, that's where the nicer, more unique food offferings are.
